Overview
The Impedans Octiv™ VI Probe meets the demand for accurate
60MHz Power measurement with 60MHz VHF power sources becoming more prevalent in semiconductor research
and manufacturing environments. It is the first single-frequency VI Probe dedicated to 60MHz systems,
and provides voltage, current, phase, impedance, and power readings into non-50Ohm loads.
The Octiv™ System is housed in a compact enclosure.
The enclosure contains an RF sensor, high speed data acquisition system,
and an ultra high speed digital Fourier filter for high accuracy measurement of RF parameters.
The integrated sensor design means an end to having to pair a sensor head with it’s acquisition unit,
and no more trailing cables between sensor head and electronic unit. Calibration data is stored onboard
to ensure that each sensor is optimised for optimum accuracy.
A single USB connection is provided to download data from the sensor, and provide power to the sensor
unit. Application software is provided which displays the required RF parameters in real-time. Harmonics
information is also available to the user.
The sensor system is suitable for one-off installations or with an adaptor kit it for use as a portable
instrument.
Impedans delivers systems with an open approach to system integration and application access, and the
Octiv™ System Software maintains this approach. A comprehensive
software API is supplied to support the integration of the sensor with existing tool-side control and data
acquisition systems.
